Degree programs and departments

The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien is organized according to a matrix structure consisting of degree programs on the one hand and departments on the other. The administrative offices of the degree programs are primarily responsible for the development and administration of the individual courses of study and are therefore the central contact point for students, while the departments are responsible for technical expertise and R&D.

The Senate, the Council and the Rector's Office

The Senate and the University of Applied Sciences Council are the decision-making bodies that preside over this matrix. The Rector's Office is responsible for the overall direction of the institution.

University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien Association

Within its established autonomy, UAS Technikum Wien acts independently of its administrator, the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien Association (Managing Board, management). The Managing Board of the association and the institution's management bear overall financial and legal responsibility.

The association's Managing Board is made up of employees of UAS Technikum Wien's supporting organizations on the one hand and members of the institution's management on the other.
