Staff mobility
The LLP Staff Mobility initiative enables instructors and staff members at European post-secondary institutions to teach or receive training at a partner institution in Europe. The exchange must be integrated into the partner institution's academic program. In addition to expanding the scope of instruction offered at the host university, staff mobility strengthens the ties between universities and promotes the exchange of specialized knowledge and experience related to methods of academic instruction.
The LLP Staff Mobility initiative is funded by the European Commission and supported with government assistance. Every staff mobility exchange is preceded by the signing of a bilateral agreement between the partner institutions. Based on these agreements, UAS Technikum Wien applies for EU funding for the organization and implementation of mobility activities each year. An exchange can only be arranged with other partner institutions that have an ERASMUS charter.
Eligible parties
Instructors employed by UAS Technikum Wien who are citizens of an EU, EEA or associated state or who are recognized as asylum seekers or as permanent residents of Austria at the start of the staff mobility exchange.
Application procedure
- Please submit the proper application form for staff mobility funding to UAS Technikum Wien International at least three weeks before the start of the exchange.
- Length of the exchange: at least five workdays or five hours of instruction; a maximum of six months
- Report and receipts: Approved funds will be disbursed following the completion of the staff mobility exchange upon submission of the original receipts and the report. The report and the receipts must be sent to the Center for International Relations within one month of the completion of the exchange.
