Didactic exchange

DICFO – an acronym for "didactic forum" – is an online platform for post-secondary instruction that was developed in the course of a project at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien that was funded by the city of Vienna (Municipal Department 27).

The goal of the platform is to create and offer a forum for post-secondary instruction in order to improve the quality of instruction at universities of applied sciences:

• Instructors at Austrian post-secondary institutions are offered the possibility to make their knowledge and didactic expertise available to others and exchange ideas and materials with their colleagues.

• Materials and examples of teaching methods, especially those used in universities of applied sciences, are made available on the forum.

• One particular focus is on teaching methods for degree programs that are geared towards students who are already working.
