Diversity is in demand! These days, it takes more than just expertise in a specialized field to climb the career ladder. Broad-based knowledge, networked thinking and the ability to come up with creative solutions are in higher demand than ever before.
In the bachelor’s degree program Business Informatics, students gain comprehensive expertise in the fields of computer science, business and management. All these skills are imparted by the bachelor’s degree program Business Informatics, offered as a distance study degree program at UAS Technikum Wien. It allows students to flexibly structure their studies according to their individual needs. Compact curricula and an efficiently organized schedule make the program perfect for working students who are unable to attend courses regularly.
In the course of their studies, students gain comprehensive expertise in the fields of computer science, business and management. In addition, a diverse range of specializations offered in the fifth semester allows students to focus on their personal interests. Graduates of this degree program often use their multidisciplinary expertise in the role of mediator between computer specialists and users, because they are familiar with the processes, language and perspectives of both areas. Students learn the versatility they will later need in their careers through ongoing project assignments. Lecturers from the business community and academic advisors assist the students in working on practice-oriented exercises and developing their own solutions in teams – a feature which clearly distinguishes the Business Informatics program at UAS Technikum Wien from comparable programs!
