Information systems managers are in high demand for providing solutions to complex problems in all sectors of business. They are highly sought-after experts who act as interfaces between the IT department and other specialist departments within a company. Female students in particular are increasingly exploiting this combination of interdisciplinary training with great success. What distinguishes our graduates is their ability to work in a particularly wide range of occupational fields. For example, they
- are responsible for strategic IT system planning,
- are highly sought-after for designing and implementing business information systems,
- use their expertise in the organization and automation of business processes,
- work in the field of system integration,
- develop business intelligence specifications, plan telecommunications solutions and eBusiness,
- evaluate, compare (or develop) and implement applications in global companies,
- work in the sale and distribution of hardware and software for business information and communication systems,
- perform leadership and team-building tasks in corporate IT and specialist departments,
- are responsible for holistic project management during the implementation of IT-heavy projects taking into consideration business-related and company-specific aspects, or
- work in technical project management with a focus on change management, configuration management and process optimization.
