Relevant for partners, researchers and students
UAS Technikum Wien has established itself as a competent research partner for companies, organizations and institutions. Its activities range from innovation checks for small and medium-sized enterprises through to EU projects at an international level. The university of applied sciences conducts research in cooperation with companies from business and industry, and also in collaboration with scientific partners from academic as well as non-university areas.
Research activity is well established in the institutions. They provide researchers with the framework conditions for sustainable scientific work. We interpret the educational mandate of the university of applied sciences to be a combination of instruction and research. The active research activities of lecturers increases the quality of the programs offered to students. In addition, students often become actively involved in projects already during their studies.
