End-to-end encryption, crypto-currencies, self-enforcing contracts on the blockchain — are these just buzzwords, or could they soon completely change the way we organize our society?
With the rise of the sharing economy, decentralized reputation models and escrow services that make the automatic enforcement of digital mutual agreements possible, the role of centralized governments with a geographically imposed legal system could soon be obsolete. Joining us to talk about the concept of crypto-anarchy and the state of the crypto-world, will be Pavol Luptak.
Pavol is a crypto-anarchist and voluntaryist focused on technology and society hacking. He is an owner of the IT security company Nethemba focused on penetration tests and ethical hacking. Furthermore he holds many prestigious security certifications and he co-founded multiple companies and organizations including the hackerspaces Progressbar in Bratislava and Paralelni Polis in Prague. Recently Pavol founded a company called Satori, focused on the creation of digital contemporary art based on corporate identity. He is also member of the Czech contemporary art group Ztohoven, which is known for its anti-government media sculpture projects.
