Michaela Malaskova is a researcher and lecturer at the UAS Technikum Wien at the faculty of Life Science Engineering in the competence field Medical Engineering & Integrated Healthcare. She is part of the team responsible for the Medical Devices & Cardiopulmonary Simulation laboratory. Michaela supports various modularisation teams mostly in Signal Acquisition and Analysis and Control Engineering in Medicine. She obtained Ms. in physics of plasma at the Comenius University in Bratislava and Dr. rer. nat. in chemistry at the University of Innsbruck. She was a Marie Curie fellow during her doctoral studies and worked at the Institute for Breath Research, specialising in use of ion mobility spectrometry and mass spectrometry for detection of substances in breath.
