Session: Modellierung komplexer soziotechnischer Systeme

Weitere Projektpartner sind u.a. AUVA, SVS, AIT, KOHS.
(HK; 15.10.2026)

Session: Training in Ergonomics – Ergonomics in Education
A key session at the Vienna Ergonomics Forum will address the following questions: How should training in ergonomics be structured – and also: what aspects of ergonomics are required in education (across various disciplines and sectors)?
DigiErgo Project
An FFG-funded project has just been launched with the aim of improving training in (digital) ergonomics in Austria. To this end, a new course is being designed and will be based at BOKU University. Other project partners include AUVA, SVS, AIT and KOHS. This project will be presented at the Forum.
As part of this project, plans are in place to establish a qualification network, which will also focus on better aligning ergonomics content in training programmes across various sectors (industry, agriculture, care) with the core content of each respective sector. There are also plans to network with organisations dealing with cross-cutting issues such as accessibility or digital education. (HK; 15 October 2026)

(red; 13.10.2026)

The Vienna Ergonomics Forum is being held for the eighth time
This year, the “Vienna Ergonomics Forum”, organised by the Austrian Ergonomics Association (ÖAE), is taking place once again. This marks the eighth edition of this popular forum. Unlike in previous issues, the topics covered this time also span the fields of technology design and the design of socio-technical systems, including organisation (not just health and safety). Further topics at the conference include (digital) education, skills development and accessibility. For the first time, the 8th edition is also explicitly aimed at participants and speakers from non-German-speaking countries and will be held in two languages (German and English).
The target audience therefore includes designers and developers of products, services and systems on the one hand, and all professional groups directly or indirectly involved in organisation and/or prevention on the other. We look forward to welcoming numerous participants to Vienna. (red; 13.10.2026)
