A positive experience when using digital applications and services is one of the most important features for the success of a product and therefore also of a company.
Only when user experience is taken into account does digitization take place at all. Only through professional user experience does technology become a good product, and the product/market fit is significantly optimized. At the same time, costs for rework and support, etc., as well as image cultivation and nerves can be saved – reasons enough to discuss the topic with experts from business and academia as well as alumni.

Digitalization offers many opportunities in terms of climate change, but at the same time it also acts as a problem amplifier in some areas. The lecture explains why it is important to consider the energy efficiency of digital products in their conception, design and development and provides answers to the question whether environmentally friendly applications also lead to a better user experience.
