First Aiders for Mental Health: Contact Persons at UAS Technikum Wien

In today’s higher education landscape, mental health and wellbeing of students and staff are more important than ever.
The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien is happy to announce that several members of staff recently completed Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) training. This marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all members of our institution.
Mental Health First Aiders are trained to recognize the signs of mental health challenges, provide initial support, and guide individuals toward appropriate professional help. Their presence strengthens our ability to respond with empathy, knowledge, and care—whether in classrooms, offices, or informal settings.
We thank our newly trained colleagues for taking on this vital role. Their contribution will make a meaningful difference in how we support one another and uphold wellbeing as a shared responsibility.
