Advisory Board Breakfast at UAS Technikum Wien: Three New Members Join the Alumni Advisory Board

19 November, 2024

A breath of fresh air in the Alumni Advisory Board: three new members strengthen the university’s innovative power with their expertise.

Last week’s advisory board breakfast at UAS Technikum Wien provided an ideal opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the university, companies and alumni. After being welcomed by Managing Director Barbara Czak-Pobeheim, the participants were given an exciting overview of current developments and projects at the university. There was a particular focus on the dual study programs, which presented their innovative concepts. These programs successfully combine academic training with practical work experience and were met with great interest by those present.

Expanded expertise: strategic development through advisory board additions

A particular highlight of the morning was the introduction of the three new advisory board members who will support UAS Technikum Wien with their expertise in the future. Thomas Greiner, Strategy Owner for Innovation at Asfinag, Tim Gutmannsthal, Senior Innovation & Digitalization Consultant at Cancom Austria, and Ferdinand Dietrich, co-founder of Storebox, were warmly welcomed to their new roles. Together, they bring valuable perspectives to the strategic development of the university.

In a concluding discussion round, alumni presented their ideas and cooperation proposals, which were enthusiastically received by the participants. The event ended with snacks and informal discussions, during which many contacts were made and new projects initiated.
