“Connect. Create. Celebrate.”: A Look Back at the First Technikum Wien UX Summit

The event brought experts, alumni, and interested parties to the university.
The first Technikum Wien UX Summit 2025 was a resounding success and a highlight for the UX community! Under the motto “CONNECT. CREATE. CELEBRATE.,” UX experts, alumni, and interested parties gathered at the FH Technikum Wien on May 9, 2025, to exchange ideas on current trends, provide new impetus, and celebrate together.
With almost 200 participants, the summit was not only a highlight in terms of content, but also a remarkably large alumni event – a strong sign of the cohesion of the ever-growing UX community.
Keynotes by renowned experts such as Sarah Loigge (Lead UX Writer), Markus Flückiger (Usability Consultant at Zühlke), Elif Alp-Marent (Experience Design Manager at Bitpanda), Manuel Matuzović (Frontend Developer & Accessibility Expert), Christina Krumpholz (Data Product Manager at willhaben), and Martin Müller (UX Researcher at willhaben) provided exciting insights into the world of user experience.
In addition to high-caliber presentations, there were interactive program items such as an alumni panel, a job & idea corner, and an entertaining UX quiz. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants were able to network with like-minded people and cultivate long-standing contacts. The after-event party was a lively celebration.
The summit showed how vibrant and committed the UX community in Vienna is – a day full of inspiration, exchange, and a sense of community. We look forward to seeing you again on May 8, 2026!
