First Platform Meeting Marks Milestone for Vehicle-to-Grid Alliance Austria

07 August, 2025

With around 70 participants, the meeting at VERBUND in Vienna demonstrated the high level of interest in V2G. Experts and companies met for the first time to discuss the joint further development of vehicle-to-grid technology in Austria.

On June 26, the first platform meeting of the V2GAllianz Austria took place at VERBUND in Vienna. Around 70 participants from the industry took the opportunity to exchange initial findings, planned projects, and the further development of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G). Informative poster walks provided an opportunity for key stakeholders and experts to engage in dialogue with the common goal of actively shaping the future of V2G.

The event was rounded off by a panel discussion with Harald Wechselberger (VERBUND), Kurt Leonhartsberger (Impeect), Klaus Raggl (Raggl Consulting), and Christoph Wanzenböck (TP SGA). The meeting once again underscored the growing importance of V2G and showed that there is still much to be done.

The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien is very interested in developments relating to vehicle-to-grid and would like to play an active role in the alliance in the future.

We would like to thank all participants for the inspiring exchange and look forward to continuing to advance the future of V2G together.
