Open Data Expo 2025: UAS Technikum Wien Invites You to the Fourth Edition

On March 5, 2025, numerous companies will present innovative applications based on publicly accessible data under the motto “Experience and Understand Data”.
On the occasion of the international Open Data Day 2025, UAS Technikum Wien and the Vienna Business Agency are organizing the fourth Open Data Expo. Under the motto “Experience and Understand Data”, numerous institutions and companies will present innovative applications and projects based on publicly accessible data on March 5, 2025. The event offers a platform for exchange between experts, students and interested parties from a wide range of fields.
Visitors can expect a diverse program with interactive booths, workshops and guided tours. A special highlight are the guided tours of the headquarters of the Vienna Air Monitoring Network in three groups of 20 people each. In addition, the Open Data Expo offers exciting insights into current open data projects, for example in the areas of smart city, transport, environment and energy.
Program highlights:
09:00 – 09:20: Opening
09:20 – 13:00: Visit booths and projects
09:30: Network meeting “DataConnect Community AT” / “DataBusiness Community AT”
11:00: Workshop “Data analysis and visualization” (UAS Technikum Wien & University for Continuing Education Krems)
From 11:00 am: Guided tours to the headquarters of the Vienna Air Monitoring Network
In addition to the FH Technikum Wien, Wien Digital (MA 01), Wiener Linien, Parliamentary Administration, MA 20 – Energy Planning, University of Vienna, and numerous other partners are represented with innovative open data projects.
Admission to the Open Data Expo is free.
