Strong partnership: UAS Technikum Wien in exchange with TGM

Representatives from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and TGM discussed specific approaches for joint projects. The aim is to pool resources and further network technological education.
On May 14, 2025, an intensive exchange took place between representatives of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (UAS Technikum Wien) and the TGM. The aim of the meeting was to explore potential for deeper cooperation in the field of technical education and research.
Representing UAS Technikum Wien were Horst Orsolits (Head of the Competence Field Industrial Product Life Cycle Technologies), Momir Tabakovic (Head of the Competence Field Renewable Energy Technologies) and Albert Benoni (Head of the Competence Field Materials Science & Mechanical Systems). The meeting was hosted by Nikolaus Eder, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at TGM.
Sharing infrastructure and developing joint projects
The meeting focused on concrete ideas for sharing infrastructure and approaches to developing joint projects in the above-mentioned areas of expertise. There was also a constructive discussion about opportunities for closer institutional cooperation.
The open dialogue underscores the shared interest of both educational institutions in exploiting synergies and promoting future-oriented cooperation. The participants expressed confidence that the exchange will lead to sustainable partnerships that will benefit both institutions and their students.
