Third Double Degree Graduation Ceremony at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts

On August 29, 2025, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) held its third graduation ceremony for double degree graduates. The focus was on the master’s programs in Software Engineering and Business Informatics at UAS Technikum Wien and IT, Digitalization & Sustainability at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Twelve graduates received diplomas from both universities.

Representing the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien at this year’s ceremony were Peter Seifter, program director of the Master’s in Business Informatics, and Robert Pucher, program director of the Master’s in Software Engineering.

Starting a promising career with a double degree

The graduation ceremony once again underscored the importance of the double degree program: It gives young academics the opportunity to start a promising career with a double degree and at the same time strengthens the close partnership between the two universities.
