UAS Technikum Wien Launches Massive Recruitment Drive

03 September, 2025
Under the slogan “Change (y)our Tomorrow,” UAS Technikum Wien is advertising up to 70 positions for specialists in future technologies in teaching and research and will also be active in the area of apprentice training.
UAS Technikum Wien, Austria’s university of applied sciences for technology and digitalization, is facing one of the most significant development steps in its more than 30-year history. New degree programs in future technologies such as quantum engineering, environmental, building, and hydrogen technology, as well as successfully submitted research projects in funding calls and collaborations with industry, require a massive expansion and development of competence teams and significant staff growth in research and teaching. Up to 70 different positions are to be filled in the four faculties of Computer Science & Applied Mathematics, Electronic Engineering & Entrepreneurship, Industrial Engineering, and Life Science Engineering.
“Our mission is not only to impart practical knowledge, but also to provide the economy with positive impetus through technical solutions and innovations, thereby contributing to the success of our society,” says Florian Eckkrammer, Managing Director of UAS Technikum Wien. “We work with passion and attention to detail on social issues related to technology and innovation. Our findings make a significant contribution to overcoming current challenges in health, energy, mobility, digitalization, and many other areas. From practical teaching to complex algorithms, we see our expertise as the key to a successful future.”
Sustainable training initiatives – also for apprentices.
UAS Technikum Wien is also becoming active in the field of apprentice training for the first time: the Technikum will start training its first IT apprentice in September 2025, with another one planned. This will open up new target groups for the university and strengthen the age diversity of its workforce. Apprentice training is a conscious step toward promoting young talent in technology education.
Apply now and help shape the future.
“We promote the long-term professional advancement of our employees, ensure job security, and provide a balanced level of flexibility and individual training,” explains Natalie König, Head of Human Resources at Technikum, “and we offer the right framework for shaping work fields together as a team and driving them forward effectively.”
