Quantum Algorithms on a Real Desktop Quantum Computer

Quantum computing is no longer confined to theory or distant cloud access. With the advent of desktop quantum hardware, it is now possible to experience the principles of quantum mechanics and computation firsthand. This workshop brings quantum computing directly to you, allowing participants to engage with the essential phenomena that power this revolutionary field.

In this workshop, you will interact with real quantum hardware to explore fundamental quantum concepts such as superposition and entanglement, which serve as the building blocks of quantum mechanics and quantum computing. You will also develop the mathematical intuition required to understand quantum computational processes and observe the practical implementation of key algorithms like Deutsch’s and Grover’s. The architecture and operation of the desktop quantum computer will be introduced to provide deeper insight into how these systems function. Finally, the workshop will highlight emerging quantum machine learning techniques and their potential real-world applications.

Hands-On Workshop

  • experience quantum superposition and entanglement on a real desktop quantum computer
  • build intuitive mathematical foundations to grasp quantum computing
  • implement and explore quantum computing principles through Deutsch’s and Grover’s algorithms
  • dive into practical quantum machine learning examples and use cases
