The Best Lecturer<\strong> category is for lecturers who support the study success of their students extraordinarily well. They do so by using various teaching methods and professional yet easy-to-understand materials, while creating a positive learning atmosphere. They promote independent learning, encourage critical thinking and tailor their lessons to their students. Their passion for teaching as well as professional expertise motivate their students to explore the topics in depth. The criteria that the jury will use to assess submissions in this category are as follows: • The lecturer uses various teaching and learning methods and provides comprehensible , scientifically sound learning materials. • The lecturer encourages in-depth and critical engagement with the content and supports independent learning. • The lecturer strives to create a positive learning environment, responds to the needs of the students and collects regular feedback. • The lecturer motivates and inspires the students to be curious and to actively engage with the topics.
