Lukas Rohatsch, von der FH Technikum Wien, ist mit einem Workshop zum Thema FIWARE vertreten:

What is FIWARE and what can I do with it? How does it work and how can it help? Why should I use it? Which other projects use FIWARE?

This workshop will answer these questions and will provide some basic knowledge and experiences.

FIWARE, the Open Source Platform for Our Smart Digital Future, provides a framework based around supplying a cornerstone function required in any smart solution. How do FIWARE’s core components enable data processing and decision-making in smart cities, agriculture, and Industry 4.0? And how can open-source technology drive innovation? In this workshop, we will explore the FIWARE architecture, see its key enablers like the Context Broker, and discuss real-world applications in smart environments.
