Start-up Research at International Scientific Conference on Globalization and Regionalization in Krakow

At the international scientific conference on globalization and regionalization in Krakow, UAS Technikum Wien researcher Katharina Felleitner-Goll presented a paper on the conditions for the establishment and growth of Austrian start-ups.
At the end of September 2025, the 7th Biannual International Scientific Conference on Globalization and Regionalization took place at the Krakow University of Economics, in which Katharina Felleitner-Goll (lecturer/researcher in the field of business, law, and scientific work, UAS Technikum Wien) also participated.
Paper highlights key factors influencing the growth of young companies in Austria
During the two-day conference, which brought together experts from all over Europe, Felleitner-Goll, together with Marian Šuplata and Christopher Pirker, presented the research project “Success Factors for Start-Up Growth in Austria: Insights from Founders and Support Institutions in a European Context.” The paper highlights key factors influencing the growth of young companies in Austria and relates these to European developments.
The conference offered a diverse program on current economic and geopolitical issues—from globalization and regionalization trends to digitalization and artificial intelligence to sustainable development and financial market stability. For the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, participation meant valuable international visibility in a scientifically well-connected environment.
