In addition to providing teaching for the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, the Department of Computer Science & Applied Mathematics focuses on the research and application of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), augmented and virtual reality, and blockchain in its four areas of expertise: “Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics,” “Digital Enterprise & UX,” “Software Engineering & Architecture,” and “Cloud Services & Security.” augmented and virtual reality, and blockchain, as well as the general concept of digitalization.
The research and development activities summarized in the research focus “Data Driven, Smart & Secure Systems” deal, among other things, with interdisciplinary topics such as “Interoperable Systems,” “eHealth,” “Smart Mobility & Smart Cities,” “Cyber Security,” and “AI in Applications.” They represent application-oriented research with a focus on embedding in existing processes and companies.
